Interdisciplinary Graduate Studies

PULSe, Purdue University Life Sciences
The new inclusive interdisciplinary program encompassing research across the university was implemented Fall 2004.   The former Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BMB), Purdue Genetics Program (PGP), Plant Biology Program (PBP) and Purdue University Neuroscience (PUN) programs have all been encompassed under the PULSe graduate program.

PULSe is a new approach to interdisciplinary life science graduate study at Purdue University. PULSe will allow you to take better advantage of the expertise available on our campus!

Visit the new PULSe interdisciplinary graduate program web site for more details. This is a separate graduate program from that of the Department of Biological Sciences, even though many of our own faculty are part of the PULSe training groups. Applications to PULSe are handled outside of this office. You need to contact them directly. Please be sure to check the requirements for this program as they may be different from those for the Biology Graduate Program.
